Siesta Key is a barrier island 8 miles long.  There are two entrances to Siesta Key.  The northern entrance over the intercoastal waterway is via Siesta Drive.  The southern entrance over the intercoastal waterway is via Stickney Point Road.  Fisherman's Cove is located near the southern and most private end of Siesta Key so the Stickney Point Road bridge is the most convenient entrance onto Siesta Key for Fisherman's Cove.

If you want to go to a regular size grocery store, the closest one is located in the southeastern intersection of US #41 (Tamiami Trail) and Stickney Point Road before you proceed on Stickney Point Road from US #41 to Siesta Key.,-82.51907229423523

Note there is a small Cresent Beach Grocery Store on Siesta Key, just across the Stickney Point Road Bridge in the southeaster intersecton of Stickney Point Road and Midnight Pass Road.

Siesta Village: Siesta Village is located in the northern end of Siesta Key and has dozens of shops and restaurants.​

South of Stickney Point Road:

There are numerous shops and restaurants south of Stickney Point Road on Midnight Pass Road.
